Prophetic Maturity & Credibility

Hello saints!

2008 is an important year for developing prophets. For, in 2009, many will see their life calling finally beginning to materialize in major ways. The Lord desires that His prophetic friends enter next year with much higher prophetic maturity and credibility. Prophets, we must grow beyond babyhood!

The pathetic prophetic must end this year.

The Hindering Spirit

There's no doubt that we need rules in life to follow. Being accountable to a good thing, is a good thing. Many prefer the word "guidelines" over the word rules. Personally I think rules and guidelines are healthy, good, and honorable.

Even within the church's there are rules. They are also called commandments. Within the structure of any corporation, or government, there are rules, guidelines set forth which again is a good thing.

However when the rules of men, the rule guy, sets forth rules to control others, control the gifts of the spirit, and lord over others and the flock of God. That is not a good, or a God breathed thing. When men desire to stand out, exalt themselves in the eye's of the flock and build ministries for themselves using man made rules over the very scriptures and word of God. That is the flesh, fleshly desires and not a God breathed thing. The end result is "a form of Godliness, but denying the power thereof".

The end result is "a quenching of the spirit of God, the gifts of the spirit, and a dead and powerless church. The end result is that the body suffers.

You see all the rules ever needed with regards to the functioning of the church, and it's members within any given body or congregation are written in the word of God, the very sure foundation of the church. However when we deviate from the word of God, and set up man made rules, we also hinder the very anointing of God from freely flowing.

Prophetic Seeds

Out of the mouth come forth blessings and curses. How true.

Have you ever been the victim of angry hateful words? They have an affect. It is the same with words of encouragement, love, and blessings. Unlike words of anger and hatred, words of encouragement, love, and blessings are sweet to the soul, and encouraging to the ears and heart.We speak words daily, sometimes hourly.

They are like seeds sown that are heard and can fall into the hearts of others, grow and produce fruit. Therefore let our words be seeds of love, of compassion, and of encouragement. That doesn't mean that occasionally prophetic words, words sown can't be hard, or exhorting one to greater things, and away from sin, trouble, and a path of destruction. The scriptures are full of such words, passages, and prophetic unctions. There are those times.

Yet our world, humanity, is full of words, seeds, that are full of hatred, bitterness, strife, contention, and murderous thought. Words that create more of the very seed and essence that they are of.

Let us walk in love, by the spirit, in Christ, and sow words of love, of compassion, of blessings, having mercy and of encouragement.
